Before this scene I would cry thinking about Loras and Renly, but now I see him as nothing more than an opportunist whore. I don’t mean he deserves his boiling-oil demise, only that I will not weep for him.

in regards to point 1, i don’t know what i can say that hasn’t already been said a million times over, but i don’t think it’s redundant: you fucking disgust me. you have no right whatsoever to call anyone a “bitch” or a “slut” for making a choice with their body in their relationships. in fact, you don’t have the right to be using those words against someone at all, especially since at least one of you is man. go fuck yourselves.
in regards to point 2, LORAS CAN DEAL HOWEVER HE WANTS WITH HIS GRIEF OVER THE DEATH OF THE PERSON HE WAS IN LOVE WITH and having sex with someone else in no way invalidates his relationship with renly or his characterization as someone who is mourning that loss, which, by the way, occurred months before this scene. “no candle can replace it,” if you’ve forgotten, was loras’s response when asked why he isn’t interested in getting married. loras thinks (at seventeen, mind you) that he won’t ever love anyone again. that in no way means he can’t have whatever level of sexual life he wants. also, idk if comprehension is your strong suit but loras is still alive at the end of a dance with dragons because as margaery says, “dying isn’t dead,” so fuck off and learn to read.

- How many times do you have to go out of your way to expain away the real meaning of a cast member’s answer? There are no mistakes! They are trained how to answer.
- How many times to you have to be given a glimmer of hope by Jeff only to have him shut it down during the next interview before you realize you’re just being baited for PR and spreading the word about the show?

Jeff Davis vs The Fandom
We are a necessary evil in his world and he hates every minute of it. When he talks about Sterek is always some canned answer. Sterek has brought more viewers to the show than anything else, but I don’t doubt for a minute that he wishes we’d go away and just become loyal viewers. #mytwocentsSo, i genuinely cannot decide if Jeff HATES US ALL or LOVES US. I mean, WHO POSTS STUFF LIKE DYLAN AND TYLER TOUCHING EACH OTHER ALL OVER when they know there is a battle for the future of Sterek being waged by the fandom (not that we’re going to be calling the shots when it comes down to writing it)??? Who does that who isn’t trying TO TELL US SOMETHING? And if he isn’t trying to give us a BIG FREAKING HINT then he must be literally THE BIGGEST TROLL THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN (and YES I’M INCLUDING MISHA COLLINS IN THAT).
So, does Jeff love us Sterek shippers enough to please us with Hobrien-y clips until he can make Sterek happen in a natural way or does he just enjoy crushing us under the heal of his undoubtedly expensive leather shoes?
